Python Job: Data Engineer (f-m-d)

We are looking for a Data Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Hero’s Team. The person who will fill this position will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems, create algorithms and conduct statistical analysis.

Job Profile

• Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources

• Extract, clean, structure and transform complex raw and processed datasets to extract insights from them

• Retrieve a wide variety of datasets and integrate them into the data pipeline

• Create and maintain an efficient data infrastructure

• Fault analysis and troubleshooting, performance optimization and documentation of our DBs

• Responsible for data governance and monitoring

• Advise on Database schema

• Work closely with our data science team to help build complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our data

• Develop models that can be used to make predictions and answer questions for the overall business

• 
  At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role

• Good experience with Python and SQL, software engineering concepts, algorithms, data structures and best practice

• Experience building or maintaining ETL processes

• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail

• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques

• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)

• Great numerical and analytical skills

• Capacity to successfully manage a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision

• Working experience with cloud providers (GCP, AWS or Azure)

• Fluency in English, and German is a big plus

We are offering a full-time position, with a gross annual salary starting from € 45,000 to be negotiated based on your experience and qualifications.
